No idea what a DX gets, but my 93 Si coupe (with only an AEM CAI and DC Sports cat-back exhaust) gets anywhere from 450 to 520 km to a tank depending on my driving habits. It was getting that kind of mileage before the exhaust and intake too.

I must admit to being a little strange to record my fuel economy for fun.....well what else can u brag about in a 1.5L car? lol

I'm curious what the farthest is that anyone has done on a tank - I checked in my logbook and I've gone over 700 km 5 times - the highest being 731 km once. It helps if its a long highway trip and you don't drive too hard. Anyone else?

Actually, you're not that strange. Although I don't personally do it (I just read my trip odometer), my father used to always record his mileage on all the Hondas we've owned (I think that's about 7 or 8 now). I wish I could tell you what our best mileage was, but I don't remember. I'd say your record is pretty darn good!

i never EVER get above 450km. maybe i need to change my air filter or something. ryanhook gets so much better mileage because his car breathes better than mine. if i drive like a granny and fill it up all the way i might get 450.

To get over 450 km per tank what has to be done on the car. I have intake and exhaust and get alittle over 400. That is mostly city and little highway.

Are these stats of 700km only highway?

ya of course i get the best mileage on long trips on the highway. In May for example I drove out to Banff and back - when you drive 8,000 km in two weeks you kinda rack up the highway miles

when i had the civic si engine i was getting 320-360 driving easy with an occasional foot down, and now with the 1998 b18b i get the same and i put my foot down more often to feel that pull. Plus everytime someone new comes in the car they wanna hear the sqwak in 3rd. Does this make any sense???

I'm getting around 400 since I changed back to the OEM wheels on my 95 DX coupe, but I usually just run on the cheap gas for city driving.
