GAB suspensions
Hi, does anyone know anything about the GAB suspensions? I was told that they were made by Tokico. But I basically want to know if they are worth buying for $600 with installation. BTW, these suspensions are used, but in good condition, as i was told by seller. My car is a 93 civic hatchback. The GAB struts come w/ springs (not sure which), and they're not height and damping adjustable. So non-adjustable whatsoever.
Please let me know what you guys think, I really need some experienced feedbacks. Like how's it ride, comfortable or not, how well does it handle? stuff like that. Thanks! |
GAB shocks were made by KYB in Japan. However, last I heard, they are now being manufactured in Malaysia. In any event, GAB is top notch stuff.
I wasn't aware they had a non-adjustable shock however. I know they had the adjustable for quite some time, because I used to see it in the old Option issues from the 90's. Btw, if the springs are green, they are most likely the GAB springs that came with the shocks. I don't think you will find anyone here that will give you first hand experience, especially with the GAB non-adjustable damper. |
Cool thanks for the feedback! I just wanted to know if they'd be worth getting still, you know?
cuz i hear a lot of ppl saying not to go cheap on suspensions, so i just wasn't sure if GAB was a good quality suspension and worth the $600 installed for a good used one. you think thats worth it? let me know, thanks!! |
like 2join said its top notch stuff, gab is very good but im no fan of the non height adjustable cuz if u put it on and its not what u wanted... wat then? lol
id go with sum skunk2 pro S coilovers but if u go the GAB way u wont be disapointed :D |
