G-spec?

Anyone heard of G-spec exhausts??? Reviews? comments?? Experiences with any of their products?

All I know is that they're made in Japan.

Feedback is appreciated.

yea I have a g-spec muffler.. the smaller one, 'fireball' style. I have a friend who have the same one on his integra... mine is louder. hehe

they are decent, I've only had it for a few months but no complaints. if anything it gets annoying on longer trips.. but I think they all come with a silencer.

the other bonus was the price.. the exhaust + install ran me $280 (mandrel pipe from the axel). got it from SLS

i personally think that as long as the aftermarket muffler seems free flowing and is made from a good material(ie: stainless steel) then it is good. really what matters most is the piping, and u can get custom mandrel bent pipes from a muffler shop for ur car...because really, who will pay like 450 bucks for like a greddy muffler??

Illmatic - I was looking into the smaller one too, for my EG. I just want something affordable with just above stock sounds in city driving, and a low rumble at highway speeds. I'll prolly want a silencer too.

Shaun - I share the same exhaust theory as you, but for a hardnosed buyer like me, consumer feedback always makes my descision easier.

Thx for the replies.

just above stock sounds in city, and low rumble at highway?? you will get quite the opposite with the g-spec.. LOL.

how about in the city people will hear you coming from blocks, and on the highway the noise will give you headaches!! unless you do a custom job with 2 resonators or something..

if you are in the west-end you can check mine out.. I think there are meets 2-3 times a week?

Doesn't the silencer filter out the noise?

I take it you like it loud and annoying??
