FYI:I had a new clutch done today and..

My 92 si hatch has 175,xxx k on it now and finally the oem stock clutch has pretty much warn out. I was at my friends garage and it turns out my rear main seal was sorta pinched. I have noticed a small oil leak in between, tranny and engine for sometime. The car doesnt burn oil but i could smell it inside for sometime now. But as it turns out the rear main has been "sweating" a little more then it should..
Im glad we figured it out while the clutch was being changed.

an oil leak from between the engine and transmission??!?!?!?!??!??!?!??!?! there shouldn't be oil in there since the only point the transmission connects to the engine is the bell housing you don't want oil in there... unless your trying to have the clutch slip
