It could be your main relay... if you know someone with a 6th gen swap the relays and see what happens or bite the bullet and buy a new one.. $80 at Honda.

The fuel pump test requires an actual fuel gauge. There are usually test ports close to the fuel rail, and you screw into it and get a reading. However, the actual fuel pressure testers that mechanics use are $250 items....so you won't know your pressure until you hook this up. However, if you hear a slight buzzing by the tank when you turn the car to ON, but not start it, then you are in good shape, and most likely your pump is okay. It is only on for 2 seeconds to build pressure. It would be wise to change the fuel filter. Check to see if your plugs are wet after attempting to start it. If so, turn to an ignition - related problem rather than fuel. Be very careful.

Yeah, there should be like a slight hummmmm when you switch the key to ACC. It only lasts like 2 seconds. If you don't hear this, it's still prolly not the pump, check the fuses and relays.

It can also be an ignition problem...take a systematic approach...my saturn runs like that...it's a MAP sensor problem, but I wanna check out some other things too....see, it gets too much fuel, so it hesitates and sputters and wants to stall when you brake since it has no idea what the load on the engine is. Damn MAP sensor. I checked my fuel pressure, and it's 36-42psi...steady rockin'....it's dead on! So I recommend you check for wet plugs....besides, what's your O2 sensor have to say about all this....rich or lean?
