fuel pump help died again F**K :(
 

So I had to get towed today cause for some reason the fuel pump i belive cut out. Was driving along 427N then no power had to pull to the curb just before the big accedent.
Anyways i checked the fuse it was o.k. Fuel pressure reg. was at zero, fuel guage on the bottom line. NO pressure. It has happened to me before and the pump still worked.
On the fuel tank in my ek there are 2 bolted in doors. One is the fuel pump the other is what? Is it the float? Will the float affect fuel delivery? Also is it possible to hard wire the fuel pump to ignition power while using a 15amp fuse? any thoughts.
Anyone know of any shops that wont rape on electrical?

The other is your sending unit (so yes your float). Check your main relay. Or check if you are getting power to your pump when you turn the key to ACC. If you arent, its the relay. If you are.. your pump is fried most likely.

yep,check power and ground to the pump, if you got both you have a bad pump. Wack the tank while cranking it to see if it fires up
