Fuel Pressure

I got a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge was wondering what the best psi is for best preformance.

stock pressure is best

i think its 38 or 44 psi, I forget to be honest

I currently at 35 ish PSI at idle.

stock is 38 (idle) and 42 (WOT) PSI.

a higher than stock fuel pressure puts additional strain on a stock fuel pump. Besides, stock injectors run best on the stock fuel pressure

LOL.

My turbo cavalier runs at 20-25psi fuel pressure at idle (the FMU bumps it up high when boost hits).

Any higher and she runs too rich and actually stalls, puffing black-rich smoke.

Couple times the fuel system lost it's prime and the engine kept running(at idle) at 0 (ZERO) fuel pressure!!!

Was weird. Soon as I tried to rev it though, it stalled.

u serious my psi at idle is liek 25-28psi is that wrong or osmething shoudl i crank up the psi or leave it alone
