Fuel mileage..?
Why is it that after the intake installation.. I get worse mileage?
Any ideas? |
your foot got heavier???
|
Not at all.. I even rev lower too. I rev to 2000 rpm and change gears and I have problems making a 600 km tank.. before when I had my closed element intake.. I was easily reaching 800 km per tank.
|
switch back and test it to see if you can still get 800, then if you can, go back to the current set up and see if it is in fact your intake

Cosmic is correct 100%.
I find it very hard to beleive that you used to get 800 KM per tank. No freakin way. The most I could get is 408 KM per tank on my 2000 SiR. |
yeah cosmic hit it dead on you free up the air flow and the ecu doesn't want to see the engine lean out so it increases the fuel flow

i found the opposite... i find that with my cold air intake i get better millage.... cause i recently put my stock air box back on and i lose like 50 kms per tank now
|
When I put my short ram intake, I only lost about 50km-80km a tank.
