Fuel Injectors (Size? Price?) B16

I was told to go with either 440 injectors or maybe 550's... My question is what is a good brand to get thats not too expensive?? And also how much do say 440 injectors usally cost around?? brand new?? Like even a ballpark of what they usally cost would help because I have no idea... But i think i heard around that 440's go for like $200 brand new... is this true??

thanks

LOL $200 for brand new... good luck!!

I sold my USED 440ccs for like $300 I think?? I dunno, ask Gallagher though, I forget.

how much power, and what pressure do you plan.

I'm using 440 cc RC Engineering now...
speedemon is using 450 cc Talon injectors

550 cc is pretty big man, but if you plan 400 hp, then DO IT.

what are your power goals?

up to 300whp id say 440's should be ok, 550's if u plan on going over 300whp.

Brand new RC injectors are around $280US for the full set. I would recommend RC or precision injectors.

I run DSM 450, but with my tune i run them at no more than 300-320 max to give you an idea. That was at 8psi on a d16z6.

yeah you might be best going with 550's or even something in the 6's as long as you get saturated and not peak hold injectors. Will just require a little more time tuning to get your idle smooth compared to smaller injectors.

he said he was leaning out the 550's...and had to switch to 780's. Still to max out 550s takes alot of power.

458 whp, but i was running a tad too lean with the 550's, id rather go big then lean them out then run too small and have to max them out.

i can make them, but i prefer not to make them for other people. They take a lot of labour to make.
