hey guys im about to go change the fuel filter on my car because im getting super ****ty mileage like 300-350 kms a tank. and i know u have to releive the pressure by holding the bottom bolt then unscrewingthe top bolt is there any other tips u guys have while doing it and how much fuel should i be expecting to be released? thanks

nop, just pull the pump fuse, crank the car, let the engine burn all the fuel in the fuel lines, and after that just replace your fuel filter, while removing the filter you will notice a little bit of fuel dripping. dont worry about it, just make sure your not smokin hehe

you can also remove the gas cap to help relieve some of the pressure. This is what i did and when i removed the bango bolt on the top of the filter only a few drops came out. This is a super easy thing to do and it should only take about 20 minutes.
You don't really NEED flare nut wrenches but they help since they get a better grab of the nut. Also make sure to use the new washers that come with the new filter.

yea its prety simple undoo the bottom bolt first whilst the filter is stil all atatched and **** its a bitch wen its off and u stand the chance of twisting the pipe then u are ****ed
yea i just did mine the other day and i only took the cas cap off and it dripped alittle but not alot i just put like 3 rags underneath then cleande up as soon as it was removed its a realy good idea not 2 use a long rench because u wil undo the top holt and the other end of the wrench wil hit the + on the batery and boom car on fire i did that its not good but il never do it again hahahha
