front wheel bearings on an EF

front wheel bearings on an EF

i have noticed that the wheel bearings in the front of the car have been making alot of noise latly i put it up on stands and there seems to be play in the actual bearing it self i have about a 1/16 of play how long can i drive like this ? will the bearing disintegrate and the tire will fall off? whats gonna happen here how long do i have ?

change ASAP, its hard to say how long you have as some people get away with more than others...the sooner the better IMO

will the tire fall off? will it cause sever damage if the bearing completly disentigrates i start new job in 2 weeks and have to wait till i get paid after that i drive approx 2000 km a week!!!!
so approx i have to go another 8000 Kms

me and shlammed went to crappy tire on a mini ghetto cruise and i got a rpice for the bearings, they r 49.99 a piece......how much do u figure install would b?...also can anybody on this site do it for me for a price?

Install would probably only be 1/2 hour labour. all they have to do is take off the wheel, loosen the main wheel nut, and pop the bearing out. If your doin it urself be sure to pack it full of grease.

you have to press the bearing, not as easy as jsut popping it in

It might not take this long but, I was quoted 1 - 2 hours labour depending on the shape of things under there. That's for both sides though.

what bearing do i need to get cuzz my tranny is a zc lsd?......so what bearing should i b ordering?

if your odering parts for the frame of your automobile order them for the automobile if orgering engine parts order ones for the car your engine came in !!!!!
