front and sway bar for ek

I am planning to put a front and rear sway on my ek, what setting is the best for cornering? Should I just go for a rear sway bar or both? I heard that ek with itr rear sway bar is good, but i think i might go for neuspeed, plz guys i need some advises?

I'll be doing SiR sways for my car. OEM so they are cheap, they will bolt right on, and something is better then nothing.

I did SiR bars all around - you have to swap the front lower control arms, and consequently the wishbone fork too in order to gain mounting points for the front bar. The rear bar is straight bolt on. I will be upgrading the rear bar later on to an ITR bar for fun.

bb, sell me your SiR rear sway when you do your ITR upgrade.

what year is your car again? I have a GSR spare :) ... I'll keep you in mind for the SiR when it gets taken off.

Go with OEM Si or SiR for the front and ITR in the rear.

I have a EK h/b...

what is the size of sir sways?
25mm front and 19mm rear?

lawkh 20-Nov-2003 09:12 PM

What is the size(mm) for itr, gsr and sir front and rear sway bar, like how do u determine the size of the bars?
does the car weight distribution of the front or rear related to the which size u should choose?

lawkh 20-Nov-2003 09:14 PM

like how do u determine the size of the bars------> how do u determine what size of the bars are suitable for ur car?

Do I search for sway bars... plenty of sizing information there. :)

If you use an SiR bar in the rear, you will still have a lot of understeer. It's better than stock, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

I heard many great things about the Progress 22mm rear sway bar... it doesn't need subframe reinforcement due to the way it mounts. Astroboy's selling it for $310 tax included. :)

lawkh 21-Nov-2003 02:55 PM

is progress better or neuspeed

bbarbulo 21-Nov-2003 02:58 PM

progress > neuspeed
