FREAkn siezed bolts

Man, trying to put in lowering springs and dam bolt holding fork and **** together is freaken stuck and won't budge. I finally got front right side off after 5 hours and now dam left side won't come off. What to do? Tried wd-40 like crazy, just got a torch from ct and been going at it but nothing so far

take it to a shop tommorow they will cut it off, if you break the bolt u will have more problems or if u strip it , impact gun work better then hand tools, good luck

yeh what paul said

on a side note if your keeping your stock shocks and just changing springs just take off the LCA by the 2 end bolts, one that attaches to the subframe and the other to the trailing arm.

There usually fine and not seized like the Shock Bolt

be careful though...the LCA shock fork bushing might be seized to the bolt...in which case you will need new bushings....check them now to see if there's any damage and save yourself the trouble now

ohhh my bad I didn't really read your question that well I thought you were talking about the rears.. Hmm odd I never had problems with the fronts, exceopt this past weekend the pinch bolt was stuck more than usual so I just had to reverse and forward a few tims on the impact to loosen it but it came out a few secs later.

I guess theres advantages with air tools.

Good luck on the rears.
