Floor Jack for Lowered Car?

Where and how much can I get a low profile floor jack?

My standard CDN tire 2.5 ton floor jack is too tall to get under the sides of my civic.

when I want to change the front tires, I cn either use the emergency jack or I have to jack the car from the rear, add a jack stand, then jack the car from the side.

HELP!

Incidentally, I saw this on Ebay...
is this a good deal?

looks kinda weak to me..

what's the lift height on the one you have now..
i have one from Crappy that's a 5"-15" lift and it sneaks under just perfectly..a little room to spare..
2.25 ton

shop around, you'll find something with a lower stance..

thanks for your advice bro.

My crappy tire jack is just like yours...
standard 5"=15"

My car is lowered... dropped 1.5" from stock.

That's why I can't fit the standard floor jack underneath the side jacking points.

1.5 front 1.7 rear, probably more like 2" all around after settling
still gets under there w/o any problems

Weird...

I should just go out and actually measure how much ground clearance I have...

I guess my car has settled a lot!

look at the blue jacks at CT (cant remember the name)

there the name brand they sell there, there low profile and should do the job.

I use a regular 3 ton on mine and its fine, 1.6 and 1.8" drop

if you cant try jacking up on the front and rear jack points

Okay... I'll check out those blue jacks @ crappy tire.

Actually my red jack can ONLY access the rear jacking point ( the tow loop).

The front jacking point is too low.

my car is so low, that I can't drive up the standard pitch ramps.

I was considering buying the ramp extenders from CDN tire...

Do you have this problem as well?

Ramp extenders do not work. Do what I do all the time since my yellow floor jack wont fit underneathe. Place a couple bricks that you have laying around, put them infront of ur tire, and drive up it. Put jack under, and sha bamo, ur cooking

I just took the little round cup off the top of my jack (it's only on there with a bolt and cotter pin) that gave a good half inch, tons of room now to get it under my 2.5 lowering... unless I have my race rubber on (175-60-13) then I drive up on a little block that I made with 2 2x8's screwed together and angle cut.

I have a 2 inch drop plus body kit...its a pain in the ***...I have to use the rear jack point then slid stands underneath, then go to the sides put a brick on my jack and lift the side(otherwise the jack arm will crush my side skirts) oil changes are another story...

some good advice is make 2 2x6 blocks cut an angle on one side and drive your car on top of them will raise it 1.5 inch any jack should fit under there

You need what my friend has. This thing can get under really LOW cars.

He said he bought it from Costco/Price Club a while ago. Don't know if they carry it any more though.
