First Gear is Shot***

It seems too me that first gear in my 91 civic si is shot... I am unable to shift into first... Sounds like somethings wrong with the tranny.. You guys thinkin of a new tranny???

i dont find honda trannies to take abuse all that well... but there cheap to replace so give er

ya for sure... i got a mint 99 tranny for $200 with a clutch.... but since you getting a cable tranny $100 would be easy to do

most likely swap the tranny, BUT if you wanna give it a dying chance.... try some GM sychromesh tranny fluid, might help

Well thanks for the help,but another question i got is what could have been done to cause this problem???
Some people say it mite be old Tranny and some people say its the way u drive your car...Maybe you guys could tell me..

You could put a Zc lsd tranny in a stock si,without doing any mods or replacing anything???

well if you drop the clutch every chance you get, or powershift or double clutch, that would mess your tranney up bad
