Falken Azenis RT-615

Out of curiosity is anyone here running Falken Azenis RT-615 tires on the street, autoX or track lapping here? Looking into a set of tires and its between these in 205/40/16 and the old Azenis RT-215's IF i can find a set in 215/45/16.

Also does anyone know if the RT-615 has been released in 215/45/16 sizing yet?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you want to find out how the 615's are, there is a review in the current Sport Compact Car that you might find of help.

I was seriously lookin into the RT-615 but settled on Hankook R-S2 Z212 a slightly cheaper tire that is direct competition with the Azeni in SCCA. just something you can consider if Azeni dosen't have the size you want, i can attest to the grip of the Z212 its amazing, but they won't last long as both start at 8.5/32nds of depth new and only have 200 treadware rating. If you search google you'll see mainly Miata reviews of the RT-615's since it is an autocross type tire or max summer performance street tire.

I have RT215's they are great tires! Only problem is a moved to the wet coast. The 215's suck in the rain; on wet roads you can't drive much more then 100km, if there is a lot of water on the road hold on tight, they hydroplane like crazy. Freaking sucks right now for me, i have to do a lot of driving on wet roads considering it rains pretty much everday. If i can find a dry sunday im going to hit the track and see if i can burn them off in a day.
