exhaust tuner
Has anyone ever used/heard an Electronic Exhaust tuner. AutoTech had a manual one and Ractive has an electronic one now. Does anyone know if they work at tuning down the exhaust sound or do they just change the tone but keep it loud?
What else can I use to tune down the sound of my exhaust? I have a Magnaflow with 2.25" catback.

Not sure how effective those exhaust tuning systems are, although I do know what you are talking about. Does your catback have a resonator, if not that might explain your noise problem. You could also look into getting a silencer for your current muffler.

Yeah, my catback does not have a resonator. The thing is that the exhaust tip is double walled and the diameter is 4.5". Magnaflow carries silencers for all 4" Diameter single wall 
I'll probably just change the muffler to an ITR muffler.
