exhaust manifold for 99 civic lx

exhaust manifold for 99 civic lx

which one should i be looking for friend needs one

which motor is in that car and will any d series header fit up to it?? i'm slow tonight haha

d16y7 if im not mistaken.

No, not any d-series will fit. I forget the damn term for it but its the cat that is in the engine bay manifold.

does anyone know if i can change the whole exhaust system to get rid of that stupid cat-coverter hanging right off the mani and put it under the car where it belongs?????

If you switch to the SI manifold(D16Y8) then yes you can, but you will have to modify the midpipe for it to fit properly and will have to either get an aftermarket cat or get the SI cat. You will also have to extend the O2 Sensor

^^yup.. imo too much money and is pretty pointless to do the cross-over

quite the opposite, y8 manifold- $50, cat- $100, and some wire to extend the o2

labour shouldnt be more than 100 bucks......an aftermarket y7 manifold is atleast 400 bucks
