Exhaust Advice, Best one for a civic with a B18B

I once had a Raactive exhuast with my stock resonators on my civic. I HATED it. It was too damn loud inside the car, and quiet outside! Too much bass...

Since then I've always stayed away from perf. exhausts since I think that they are all loud and annoying in the car, especially after long drives...

So, now that I've a B18B and I'm still running stock tiny civic exhaust, what should I do?

I think a shop will be CHEAPER than me buying from auto parts stores... Last time, for my bro, I bought a WAGNER mid-pipe and muffler, both bolt-on aftermarket (non-performance) and it came to `$350! The quality and size of piping is really good, but this was too expensive considering it was a DIY project!

I'm guessing I should just go to an exhaust shop and get the whole thing made for me, with a CATCO hi-flow cat and 2.25 piping all the way back to a muffler of some sort... It would probably only cost a little more, and I could probably get a lifetime warranty on the muffler.

Any advice on something thats good for performance, and not annoyingly loud? Looks don't matter at all to me. Any names of mufflers and places to get this stuff? Remember, I don't want my ears ringing from the noise.

Thank you

I have heard good things about the apex world sport, but the muffer it self is kinda pricy.

ITR mid-pipe with a replica MTL exahust. performs well and is super quiet. almost as quiet as stock.

Try the SKUNK 2 with the silencer in it is very quite. And the performance is great. Full stainless not like some companys which only the back half is stainless and the mid pipe is mild steel.

I've got the Apex-i World Sport catback on my EL and love it. Nice and quiet (almost stock sounding) in normal low rpm driving, but still has a nice, but not obnoxiously loud tone when you really hammer it.
