just had my exhaust replaced a week ago and i'm getting a sulfur kinda smell. i have a b18b motor in a eg and had dc headers..... just last week i put a dynomax muffler and magnaflow cat. and with a custom bend 2" pipe. wondering if that smell is normal for new exhaust and if so how long before it goes away..

alot of time they coat the exhaust in oil so it will not rust and that is probably what you are smelling

i dont' know if its' the same smell, but when i got mine installed, i smelled somthing for about 4 or 5 days, and then it went away, but maby your smelling somthing different

That's just the smell of your new Catalytic converter. Yes it will go away once it has some miles on it.
