Exaust Wrap?

What do u guys think, of exaust wrap, its pretty cheap, like 30$ for 50 feet? Worth it?

i used it when i was boosted to keep the vacuum line close to the mani from melting. It appeared to work. i wouldnt buy it again tho

i was thinking of wrapping my exaust with it, to keep the temps down

i bought a turbo wrap but haven't had a chance to put it on. maybe in a couple years when i get some time to work on the car.

i read once in the honda tuning mag that it is not as good for city driving as it is for track...the same goes for the wrap that goes on the headers.

what tends to happen is moisture/water will be trapped in the exhaust wrap and can start rotting out your exhaust manifold.

Only seen it happen to 2 cars ever and I have used the exhaust wrap on my header and never had any problems with it.

for a daily driver it might not be the best ideal..it will eventually rust out ur header by trapping moisture in..
