ES Bushing - What to EXPECT
I'm thinking about replacing all my bushings with Energy Suspension. By doing this exactly what should I expect? Do I lose my comfort? Exactly what do I gain by doing this modification? I'd like some input from you people that have successfully done this modification.
Thank you :leafs: |
first of all the bushings wont seize up on you like OEM ones will down the road if u do suspension work. second of all, the right will be a lot 'tighter'. They don't allow as much 'play' as oem bushings do.

You lose comfort for sure my cars handling is amazing thanks in no small part to the complete set of prothane bushing but a took a very very big hit in rid comfort. If you value handling more then comfort this is the way to go!

Well, I kinda like both. I guess I'll to leave the stock bushings in. Anyone else have anything to say about this?

Do it if you have another car you use as a daily driver.
If you drive this car all the time, I would recommend against it. It will increase vibration, and you will feel a hair on the road if you drive over one. |
energy suspension
their website is quite informative, you could start there. anything else we can do for yah?:p Im doing my kit in a few weeks, maybe longer, might wait till better weather so i can drop the car also all at once. , Ill post my reviews, aswell as a few other board members that are doing it aswel |

the master kit doesn't include the big trailing arm bushing so i wont be doing it for now anyways.... i got one rear lca done now though... i'm hoping tomorrow afternoon i'll have the rear end done though
|
yeah i got my master seperate hence the cost comment! needed to though the integra rear end needs a different bushing...
|
ya matt had a similar problem since he's using 5th gen trailing arms... both of those bushings on my car look rough though... how much do they run for?
|
A little over 2 bills i think.. When i took my rear suspension apart those bushing were so rotten that the rubber had come off the steel spindle! What really scared me was that mere weeks before it had been crusing on the QEW at 160...
