my 93 civic often will not start at the first time when I turn the key, but if i wait for 5 minutes after my first trial, the engine will turn on easily. Sometimes when the engine is not starting, i don't even hear the sound from the starter(the sound "ge ge ge..." ) Do I need a new starter? thanks for ur help~!!!~

ya sounds like the starter man. actually if you have trouble to where it comes to where you cant start it just tap it with something hard as someone is turning the key, this is just till you get it replaced.

recommend you do it soon cause it sounds like its already on its way out.

ya this sounds like your starter reaplce it as soon as you can because it will only get wrose
