Engine trouble HELP!!

okay well i drive a 96 ex, stock motor only mods are CAI and exhaust and i had both mods for about a year, its manual and i rarely drive it hard, maybe 3-4 times ever, she does have a lot of km's though 220,000. until now no problems.

here are the symptoms: first i noticed when the car was cold and i would reach a light (car is not in gear, and clutch is not depressed) the idle would drop to around 100 rpm and the car felt as if it were about to stall, then it would go back up to about 1000 and it would be fine. this would only happen once per drive and only if the car had been sitting for a while (occured less recently maybe due to warmer tempereatures)

symptom 2: when im shifting or balancing my cltuch and gas i hear a mechanical sound its not grinding but its almsot like a scraping, its more pronounced in lower gears

symptom 3: an odd noice coming from my shifter, probably unrelated to other probelms but i thought id throw it in cause it surfaced in teh smae time frame

and finaly symtpom 4: this only happend twice ever but it worries me most. ive been crusing along at an average speed (rpm between 2-3k) and all of a sudden the car starts to shake (more of a rock back and forth ) if i give it more gas it lessend the rocking motion and when i pulled it out of gear it disapperad completely, but it happened again last night so i got worried and figured before i bring it to a mechanic and he tells me to buy a new engine i would ask you guys who arent looking to screw me

i realise some of these symptoms might me unrelated but i thought i shoudl cover the bases. PLEASE HELP thanks in advance for any advice
