Well, last night my dear old engine died (1990 si). So i need a new one. Problem is i have a pretty tight budged (1000$).

Could there be any way that i could swap maybe a ZC + tranny in my 90 hatch ?

or anything else for that price ???

i need a swap asap, i cant use my car :fustrated

try japan autoparts, there are lots of them in scarborough. Or lucky star japan auto, but there prices might be a little high.

You COULD do it yourself for under $1000, that is assuming you have the right tools and time.
But even thats cutting it close...

I have a 4th gen 4door DX tranny. Can i fit that with the ZC ?

swaps at home on a weekend are always fun .. if you get a bunch of friends over with more tools and everyone tackles part of it it's a blast .... I had tons of fun helping with Daves car....

I just did my swap for $600 I bought a SOHC VTEC ZC for $500 and the ecu for another hundred and did the swap with my friends. It was fun and a great learning experince. I guess that would really be $600 plus the cost of a case of beer and the 5 ratchets we broke !

why not come to me...i have a 4th gen civic which i am selling....and since youy also have one ,and are gonna iinvest 1500 ,i am selling a zc dohc civic 4 door ,for a little more, and you get 17 inch rims and system, slam , paint and more
