Engine Swap parts???

Ok, i'm getting a b18c5 in my 99 EK Sedan. My question is, what other parts do i need besides the obvious engine, tranny, and ecu.

anyone done this swap into an EK?

Engine Mounts, Custom Driveshafts, C5 Downpipe.

If your buying a JDM motor instead, you will need to convert wiring from right hand to left hand drive. (Basically extending all wires and matching to civic clips)

If your car is not an SI, you will need extra wires run in thru firewall for vtec.

I strongly suggest you replace the clutch. Examine the timing belt/pump, if you can afford, replace them regardless.

I'm not sure if you require the Injector resisters for the C5, I did for my H22. Also check for the map sensor, if it isn't located on the Throttle body, then it's on the firewall. You will NEED IT!

Do the B18's have EGR? Not sure. If they do, you need that too. EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation). If you run the stock ecu for the C5 you will need the EGR system wired up or you'll throw a code.
EGR however does NOT throw your car into limp mode, so it wouldn't really affect performance but still annoying..

Go check out hondaswap.com

odds are you'll need so many parts and extra bolts and sensors that your head is gonna hurt. no swap ever comes complete.
