Engine Starting Problem

Engine Starting Problem
Wondering if anyone has a solution to my problem....
I tried starting my car today and the engines seems to choke 5 to 8 secs, then finally starts. But I think my cd player got reset cause the time goes to 12:00 am and i hear the 6 beeps again when my car is already started (when you turn the ignition to the ON position). Now, this problem is consisitently happening. i've checked all the ground wires and fuses and it seems fine. anyone know whats wrong?

did you check the fuses in the underhood fuse panel? I remember when my g/f's clock/radio kept resetting it was because the back-up fuse in the underhood fuse panel was blown.
Well first off, how does the car run otherwise? Does it stutter or choke while you are driving?
Your starter could be on its way out.
Check the connection of the positive and negative terminals of your battery and make sure they are tight.
