Engine Sounds Like a Harley

My 1.5 L civic engine sounds like its a harley. Aside from the exhaust being separated from the catcon, i believe it is due to timing. Anyone know anything about timing and tuning?

well, if you are running open header of course its gunna be loud as hell and sound like a harley.

you need a very tuned ear to hear when the timing is off.

It sounds like a harley because of what andrew said... no exhaust.

or because the car has a misfire perhaps.
