I went out to look for Simple Green but for some reason Wal-Mart nor CT had it so I got one of the newer Gunk Products which cleans and polishes so that it doesn't look dull afterwards. It also came in a nice orange scent too haha oohhhhhh. And most of the the heavy duty cleaners that I read clearly stated that it should not be used on Ashphalt. So I guess I'll just drive half my car on the grass and kill that instead of my driveway :)

^^HAHA....killin the grass...my dad would murder me....
MMM zellers sells it for pretty cheap too that's where i get my simple green from....cheaper then CT, not sure if it contains the same amount...but heck...it's a big spray bottle too |
well sounds like I'll be using simple green. I just have to figure out how to cover the alternator effectively. By the way ~ILLEST CIV~, your engine looks like money bro. I need to get mind looking like that, right now it looks like a bomb hit it.

Originally posted by DumbasSi I don't cover anything up. You're engine gets wet in the rain and in the winter, so what's the big deal. As long as you don't concentrate the water on the distributor/battery/intake, it will be ok. |
CT carries it, but cover your alternator to be safe!!! don't do what i did and f*ck your car up. better to be safe than sorry.

I was going to post before and afters today, but Scott Newman being the nice guy that he is gave a real quick clean of the engine when he did my timing belt install, so the before and after isn't going to be as drastic as it should have been
