would a b17 drop right into a 1993 civic h/b? or what would have to be done? or is it just better off going with the b16a2?

better off going B16A2, but OMFG if you can get a B17 then DO IT, it's an ULTRA rare engine!!!!! but then pick up a EF shell to toss it into

a b17 is from a 92-93 integra gsr.
It also uses a cable tranny while your car uses a hydro tranny. You would either have to convert it to cable, or just use a b16 hydro tranny.

ok well i know a guy with 2, its the place where i co-op so if i was to get it swaped it would be more then likely me doing it with help obv. and yes its from a 92-93 gsr rare!, but is it worth doing it tho even tho you gotta convert the tranny and all that stuff? and is that the only thing that needs to be changed? thanx

p.s how much would a b16 hydro tranny cost.. roughly?

well you CAN run that engine, but I would not recommend that swap for your car. Too much trouble for not enough gain. B16A or B18C is a much easier and more rewarding swap!
