Engine Number?

Hey
I have a D15B7 in my 92 DX, what does the serial mean?? and What characteristics does it have compared to others?? What do other ones have?? If I wanted to do a swap, and wanted to be conservative about more hp, and Torque, what should I go with?? And what are my options? I know much about motors, with my shifter kart racing background, but the car thing is new to me. Please help me out!
Trevor

B18B - easiest and most cost effective swap ever to be concieved!

the D15B7 means low performance, low compression, one cam, no vtec, long gear tranny...

yep can't go wrong with the b18b... cheap and gets the job done... down the road you can get a b16a or b18c head on there too for more kick

if you are for real, I can put you in touch with a person in Ottawa who can perform the swap cheaply... and he's done the swap many times - he's a mechanic at a Honda dealer and has a garage at home.

haha, you think I'm a dick huh

Well, a monkey with a wrench could do it, so I wouldn't insult you by telling you you couldn't... given the tools of course.

No, but this guy has a full shop in his home garage... like hydraulic lifts and everything... down to a tire mounting and balancing machine
