Engine not starting after cam install

Engine not starting after cam install

hey everyone

i have just installed a D16A6 camshaft along with an AEM Tru-Time cam gear into my D15B2(Mpfi). I just put everything back together and now my engine wont start. It will turn (camshaft and crankshaft), i have spark - but it just wont start...I also did a valve job on it aswell...any ideas?? any help will be greatly appreciated

alright thanks for the help...how should I adjust it...im a n00b at this...i have the timing light and everything...should I adjust the cam gear or the distibutor??

i would double check your timing belt, sounds like your timing is way off.

alright...yea i think the timing is way off...but i think im screwed anyways because the engine apears to be leakin oil now from the crankshaft pulley area...so it looks like it might be time for a swap...lol...unless anyone would know if there is a way out of this situation...

take it apart and inspect, could be the oil pump seal (where the crank comes through the oil pump) or the cam seal....don't give up yet.
