To start... this is on my 93 Jeep YJ... not my Civic.

The oil pressure is fine at idle when cold... it's when it warms up... if I pull up to a light, the oil pressure drops in 1/2. If I rev the engine a wee bit, it'll start climbing back up.

Any ideas as to what it could be?

try and change the oil pressure sensor i have seen a few of those jeeps and usually that is the problem.
it is located just above the oil filter on the passenger side.

hmmm, do u have any oil consumtion problems? oil pump maybe? def. something to look into...

cold oil is thicker which would create higher pressure when cold...when it gets hot the oil is thinner and creates less pressure...then u rev the motor and the pressure goes up cuz its workin harder...hmmmm

do you have the proper amount of oil in there i know in a civic when i don't have enough oil and i wrap a corner my oil pressure light comes on or on the standard ones i have had when you engage the clutch and rpm drop to like 500 or something lower or so it comes on too!!!!!

what IS your pressure?? I mean, it could be normal too.

otherwise, sludge buildup could cause a drop in pressure or a worn out pump. it's not something we could pinpoint through a computer anyways... you gotta drop the pan and measure the clearance on the oil pump. Instructions are in a Chilton/Haynes manual.
