hey what s up guys
maybe someone can help . i just got a civic ( 2000 SE) . the guy who had it before me supup the car , he put an air intake and a performance mufler in it . and a few other things that are not stock ( i m not really sure wha t they are ) .. anyhow the car drives fine however the engine lights comes on . i disconnected the battery and connected it back then the engine light goes off . 2 days after it turns back on . i done it twice and i got the same results. Now i m not sure why the engine light is coming on .. can anyone help ??. Also i m not sure if this is just a coincidence but it comes on when i m on the highway , also the door panels are missin a molding or something so the air gets through ( you can hear the air when going on the highway , however u cant feel the air going in ). hope someone can help

If you want to your engine code... pull the kick panel cover off on the passenger side near the door. Get a small piece of wire or something and jumper the two wire black plug that is just hanging there. Turn the car to the on position and the check engine light will blink the code. Then come back here with the code and someone will help you out.

the car drives fine , has a lot of power , i m just a bit scared of takin it to the dealer since there is a lot of stuff that are street illegal on this car . I m thinkin it could be the o2 sensor too .. is it dangorous to drive it with the light on??? . i been driving it for a week and i see not difference in my car performance ...
