Engine light on :(

When i was driving on the highway the engine light came on. So when i got home i pulled the codes. The first code i dont understand, i get two long blinks which isnt a code in my helms The second is a code 5, which is Manifold absolute circuit range/performance problem (i had this code b4 and it turned out to be a bad ecu, so i changed it) The third is a code 74, which is a misfire, could be injectors or circuit, ignition system, low compression, or valve clearance.

Now my question is wouldnt i be able to feel a misfire? because the car runs fine to me but i have noticed that i have been getting ****tier gas mileage. Thanks

2 long flashes isn't that a code 20? perhaps your separating the 2 long flashes and the 5 short flashes and the code should be 25 I wouldn't know without being there in person to see the code.

a code 5 looks like it could be a bad MAP sensor.

I cant still get rid of the light The first code is 2 long flashes which like gatherer said is 20, the second is 5 long flashes which is MAP. Now my question is, is it possible for these two codes to be related because it jus came outta nowhere, car runs fine. As far as i know my car doesnt have an ELD even though it says i have one in the helms, so i dont know how to diagnose the code 20 This **** is driving me crazy, if i cant figure it out im gonna take it to a shop.

I'm not sure about those codes but my car misfired and set of engine light 3 times.

Now the first time, engine misfired for a minute and set off that code 74 I think. the car ran smooth.

The second time the car misfired for a long time before I shut it off and when I turned it back on the CEL was on.

Now the third time, the light came on but the car ran smooth! I asked around and they all said it WAS an ignition problem. But a mechanic who took a look at it said it was fine. He believed it was O2 sensor.

so I don't know if I helped, but all I'm saying is don't leave out the misfiring or )2 sensor issue cuz you think it seems fine.

so did you change the O2 sensor? did the CEL go away? because i have been getting terrible gas mileage (450km highway to a tank)
