hi everyone I need some help please. I have a 93 civic LX I just bought it about 2 months ago and it had a JDM D15B swap already done to it but the crank was ****ed so this weekend I got a guy to do another D15B swap and now I think the V tec is not working cause I get an engine light and my car does not rev up worth a **** where the Vtec would usually kick in it just cuts out like I need to switch gear, is there anywhere I can fiind info of how to hook it p and what does it involve the guy who didi the swap is more acustomed to working on GM's so I'm not sure if he would really know his honda **** that good, well thanks guys any help would be apreciated.

I had the same motor put into my 91 civic from splitfire and the car goes like mad. Give them a call and talk to Paul and tell him ur situation. He's a good guy and resonably priced. He knows his sh#t!! http://www.splitfireperformance.com/home.html

You can test the solonoid by touching a wire to it that is connect to your battery, if it clicks it is working.
