Engine is burning water

My stock 1995 1.5L DX engine is burning water at the moment.

Does anyone now what factors might be causing this? My guess might be the head gasket. Thanks!

are you filling the street with white smoke when you drive? if so then your head gasket is done..

theres a few things you can check to see if it is your headgasket

-white plugs
-heat has air pockets (so its not hot sometimes)
-overflow tank bubbles/foams
-white smoke/sweet smell from exhaust.

Or just do a leakdown test

How can you catch water on fire? hehe

A blown headgasket, warped cylinder head, or a cracked engine block can result in burning coolant.
