:shrugs: I got a 92 Civic sedan with a non vtec D15b7 that is smoking super bad. ( im burning roghly 2-3qts a month) so i want to replace my motor very soon, but i dunno whether to throw some rings at my stock motor and do a mini me swap, throw in a D16z6 or a jdm vtec D15b. I'm not interested in any B-series. Lookin for some performance but more less want vtec on no smoking :smoker:

Go Z6. Lots of product support and can be found for cheap.

agree with Mr death, less problems and if you do run into any there is an abundance of resources

I'd get a jdm vtec D15b with an LSD tranny.

shop around, get whatever is cheaper. usually JDM importers will give you start up warranty, if you just get some z6 off the boards, you have no warranty at all.
