emissions test

I Have to do my drive clean( emissions test) real soon i just did a swap in my car JDMb18c
do i have to tell them i changed the engine or will i have a problem getting it done.

YES i know they will see the engine but what do i say

get them to test it as a hot rod... thats what i've been told i should do

yeah, if the displacement of the engine has changed, they test it as a hot rod. go to the ontario ministry of transportation site and they have all the emissions details there.

you are lucky.... if i did that id have to the register it as a hot rod, and insure it as a hot rod also..

Key word, displacement..

So a 2.2L would easily be a hot rod.
