Highly unlikely you'll get pulled over by the MTO...seeing how every tractor trailer on the 401 today is releasing a disgusting amount of pollution and nothing is done about it.....but I would not let that crap pass through my engine....something about solving emission problems from a can that dosent sit right.

If your car fails, fix it. Why would you want to participate in all of the excessive pollution going on? Besides, it's a civic, it shouldn't fail.

run premium gas and rip it around in your car for a bit before you go

i used it in my old Integra to pass, that and a tank of Ultra 94.
I think my first fail was BS though. They kept the car overnight and stuck it on the test first thing in the morning with the engine cold.

They don't test cars cold. All of the testing computers are monitored.

if higher octane gas helps your car pass then its not running right (cars not meant to run high octane) the plain fact is that most cars do more harm than good when using premium fuel instead of the recommended 87/89 octane...running high octane in a car that doesnt need it can lead to excessive carbon deposits, gummed up injectors, and general varnished appearance inside the engine which inturn hinders performance, gas mileage etc.

if you read the fine print on the back of the box it says car must be 100% perfect mechanical condition and for running the cars cold and it failed. you cant run the car cold because in the test you have to precondition the car to get it up to temp. i know im a emissions inspector everythings monitored by the MTO
