Electrical Issue

When driving home tonight I noticed all my lights ( inc dash lights, heater fan slows down, but radio is fine) will dim and brighten randomly. Car runs fine other than the lights dimming on and off.

I'm thinkning a ground somewhere? Any ideas? I do have an audio system, could that ground pose a problem?

if u take it into crappy they can test the charging system might cost some coin though ($20) or u can try a local independant shop and they will prolly do it for free

or just measure voltage ... with the car off the car battery should read 12 volts or slightly less with the car on the voltage across the battery will go higher then first measured... if the alternator is functioning....... could be a bad wire or 2 connected to the alternator.....

sears can do a test for you on your charging system... as I understand they have the most high-tech equipment.
