EK - Sedan Vs Hatch

I am looking to pick up an EK. It would be a daily driver but I would like to go to the track on weekends (road racing, not drag). Which handles better? The sedan or the hatch?

All opinions are welcome.

of cuz the hatch~:P

imported_Nicotine 29-May-2007 02:32 AM

hatch is lighter. and, imo....EK hatches are better than EK sedans....

imported_kruption 29-May-2007 03:22 AM

Hatches offer more space to load crap in the trunk area than sedans.

I like the look of the hatches but I love my coupe :naughty:

Weight is one thing, but that's when height adjustable coilover comes into play. Proper corner weight and a good HP/Weight ratio would make any car a good track car.

the hatch weighs like 50 pounds less than the coupe.....not that much of a difference...:D

instead of worrying about the minor difference of handling between the cars, I think the biggest difference would be the quality of the driver!

i like the ek hatches better than the coupes as far as looks are concerned (same with the EG's too..hatches FTW)

Wheelbase is your only diffrnce for tracking.

coupe you will have a longer wheel base.

everything happens MUCH faster in a hatch you have to be quick with what your doing.

2 doors owns 4 anyday :D

hatch FTW!

I've had an EK hatch for 10 years, and I'd say go for the hatch unless you have a family and you need 4 doors.
