gsr, if the budget is limited. its gonna be around 300-400 bucks(used).

if budget is not an issue, go with type r, with bigger rotter, and if not mistaken they are brembo brakes. they cost around 1200 bucks (used)

Integra Type R or Civic Type R, if you're going to upgrade then you might as well go all out.

ITR or CTR won't be "all out" Fred, consider SiR spindle is the same as ITR/CTR, one should just get that then upgrade the brake caliper and rotor to larger size, i.e. 4pot/6pot pistons.

Even get NSX calipers will be better than ITR. I am not denying the fact that ITR/CTR do have larger caliper than SiR/Si/DX, but that won't be the ultimate answer to brake upgrading if you really want to go the extreme. Unless of course, you like the fact that you have "5 lug" on your car.

either go with SiR/GSR for budget, and it works as good unless you have like tons of power like "TONS" i'm talking about

like nova said.... SiR/GSR is good enough, and maybe upgrade calipers/rotors in the future... for $1500 on ITR, why not Brembo BigBrake or some other brands... you're front wheel drive anyways... have your back with some SiR or GSR brakes...

you dont need to go with gsr or si-r brakes.

I would recommend an aggresive pad.. such as ebc and some get blank rotors such as brembo.. imo much cheaper

Does Honda sell any of these aftermarket breaks for an EK, or do they only sell the regular pads and rotors? I have to change the breaks on my EK hatch soon and I too am looking for options.

i know on H-T, there's a sale in their affiliates or whatever forum... front brembo blanks a pair for $62 US... and shipping is usually juts like $15-$20 US and if its by ups i think with duties and brokage about $50-$60 CAD, and at today's USD -> CAD currently... i think you can get a pair of front brembo blanks for $150 CAD shipped to your door with brokage fee and duties...

sir/gsr discs all around with mc and bb with some good performance pads will be all that you need. seriously, i have that setup and i don't feel any need for anymore improvement unless i start going way faster. there's a guy on h-t that quoted me just under 150usd for all 4 corner brembo blanks shipped.
