EK engine swap

Does it make sense to put an OBD-1 motor in an EK? Or is it possible to convert it to OBD-2?

Reason I am asking is because I see alot more OBD-1 motors for sale.

yes it is possible.

Is there a guide/how-to?

not really..

if you want to keep your obd2 ecu.. you NEED the proper head/manifold for it to run at its best.

But if you are completely ****.. and got a z6 head or something (which the maps are pretty different one)

you can just use your obd2 manifold and dizzy and everything will be golden (except fuel economy lol)

Oh ok, Actually I should have specified. I was talking about b-series. B18B to be exact.

run an obd2 p75 ecu.

And use an obd2 dizzy and injectors

Note that obd2a and obd2b ecus, dizzys, etc are different, so make sure you get obd2a (if you are doing this to your 96)
