EK 4 doors, coupe, hatch, SiR muffler comparison

I was wondering if the stock axle back muffler of EK hatch is shorter on the tip only compared to the one on EK 4 doors or the coupe.

The question is: is it just the tip that is shorter or the pipe or the back pipe is also shorter.

If I buy axle back of SiR or Si or EK ferio, can I just cut the tip or replacing it with any aftermarket tip ( im a rice boy ) without changing or modifying the hangers and the back pipe of the muffler??

I want mugen twin loop, but pocket is thin .....so proly just the tip

thank for any info

I'd think the axleback is the same, the only difference is the midpipe? Someone correct me if Im wrong. And I'll edit myself out lol.

See cause if an SiR muffler fits an eg coupe axle back, I'd think itd fit the EKs without a problem.

I believe the over axle pipe for the couple is longer than on the hatch...easily modified though...and then the tip pipe is longer by a couple inches on the coupe muffler

I could be wrong though

the angle of the johnson rod changes when you bend hangers on a MJ37 exhaust to fit it on a ZM71 platform unless you also change the rod ends in which case you'll need the JDM SD241F hanger bolts which are pretty tough to come by.

SiR and Si have the same exhaust

if you want the MTL get the replica universal muffler

EK Hatch muffler = really short
EK Coupe/Sedan = same length, can be easily swapped
