EG exhaust

Hey guys, got an EG DX hatch but it came with this annoying aftermarket exhaust, which is quite by aftermarket standards but I want stock.

What fits EG hatch, is CX and SI EG hatch the same exhaust as DX? DX has the D15b7, CX is D15B8 and Si is D15B?

Currently it has a catback and the cat is way up front. This looks to be 2.25" or 2.5", its got pretty large piping and the car makes 102hp stock....its gotta go.

Is the cat attached to the exhaust manifold or under the car? An SiR or ITR OEM catback might be a nice stock exhaust.

a 2.25 would be nice for the little motor but a 2.5 is too big. so you sold your el to build an eg? nice decision . like he said, an itr oem catback will be perfect for you. it won't be crazy loud and it'll still have a nice tone when you get on it. what are your plans for this car?

plans for this car, sadly are stock, stock and a whole lot more stock. I'm after a CBR600R for next summer, so this is going to be my bad weather/winter beater. Its an automatic even...but I keep thinking of the bike when I get the itch to mod this.

I'll get a set of 185/60/14 Falken Zeix 512 for summer and 175/70/13 Blizzaks for winter and thats about it. I'm thinking cheap stock, like stock 92-95 DX or SI, but thats why I need to know if there are any differences between CX/DX/SI for 92-95 or also if 94-01 tegs will fit it from cat-back. My cat is under the car but at the front, just after the oil pan I believe. Then this monstrosity takes over.

With 102hp, performance is the last thing on my mind, haha...40MPG would be nice though. performance will come in the form of two wheels, 600cc and me singing "rocket man" haha

If anyone reading this has an EG and wants a cat-back, i'll trade straight up if your exhaust is in good shape. This one is stainless steel I was told and it actually looks good, but I want OEM Quiet.

mid pipe? i have a mint stock mid pipe still on the car and want to ditch it for a 2.25 mid pipe. i'd trade you . i'm pretty sure the catback off a teg won't fit an eg. an itr catback didn't fit my friend ek, he had to chop it. the axle back needs some modifications also.

get some lightweight vx rims and vx motor. then you'll get some serious mileage. my boss has a vx motor in his beater and he gets around 650 highway but needs a new o2 and fuel filter. vx also had aero covers under the rear bumper to shield off the air that gets stuck their like on the non vx hatches.
