EG and DC Suspension

EG and DC Suspension
Are the EG and the DC suspension setups completely interchangable? Like if I were to completely remove the EG's suspension and the DC's, would I be able to swap the suspension from each car without any trouble or modification?
I hope that made sense. I'm trying to swap the DC suspension over to the EG and the EG suspension over to the DC.
Thanks for any replies.

what would i really search for? how can i sum up my question into the form of a one line statement for searching. I already thought about searching, like i always do. 95% of my search results were in the classifieds section.
anywhoo, thanks for your response.
But to follow up, if i am just swapping the shock/spring assembly from an eg over to a dc, i wouldn't have to swap any of the control arms would i? or is that what you were saying in your response?
ThanX

You can segment off your search selections, or better yet try honda-tech.com.
No you wouldnt need to swap the control arms if you're just swapping the shocks. Keep in mind, rear ITR shocks will not work on an eg. You need that specific LCA in order to do that swap.

If i wanted to post on H-T, i would have. But since i was already browsing this forum, i posted here. It was a really simple question, yes or no answer would have sufficed.
In any case, thank you for your answer.

Next time, do proper research before you try to give anyone tips.

lol, your half assed search didn't even get a post with the words shock or spring. Which is what this topic was about. And if you yet again bothered to read, you'd notice i stated i did search but came up with posts that didn't suit my question.
And giving attitude? lol, all i did was explain myself.
now scurry off and try to start an argument somewhere else.

LOL
you are clearly giving attitude.
scurry off and try to start an arguement soemwhere else?
im not looking for an arguement, clearly you are getting overly defensive of people telling you to search.

really I wish I didn't have to lock threads like this. please, we are all 'adults' or close anyways so exercise some self control. yes, I agree the search feature is great... but unless the question is really ignorant, let's all try to chip in and be helpful.
this thread IS useful, or could be useful so .... let me start.
5th gen Civics (what are ignorantly called EG) share the same basic suspension as the 3rd gen Integras (called DC).
All Civics from 89-00 and all Integras from 90-01 (I think?) share the same springs. The front forks and shocks on an 88-91 Civic are skinnier than the 92-00 front shocks. The rear 88 Civics are similar to the Type R Integra (both of which are totally diff't from other Civics/Integras). 89-91 rear shocks should be identical to the latter Civics.
92-00 Civic and 94-01 Integra front shocks are all interchangable. 92-95 Civic rear and 94-01 Integra rear shock forks are wider than the 96-00 Civic. You can use the EG/DC shocks for the rear on an EK if you use some washers, or if you press in the EG/DC bushing. Similarly, you can use EK shocks on a EG/DC if you shave the bushing, or preferrably just press in the narrower EK bushing.
anyone wanna correct anything, or add anything feel free. thanks
