EG coilover in EK? what is 350f/200r vs. 10k/8k?
wussup people. I want crazy tight cornering ability with definite 'tail play.'
budget: $700 parts + ~$160 install
1. will EG coilovers fit in my EK? what extra work/parts re required.. am i better off just waiting for a decent set of EK coilovers to come up for sale
2. with regards to 'rates' what is the difference between "350f/200r" and "8k/10k".
my guess is that the 8k/10k refers to the shock dampening-- while the 450/350 is the spring rate. oui non?
3. what gives stiffer/rougher handling-- progressive or linear springs? what examples of each? guess: h&r sport are linear (stiff), eibach sportline are progressive (soft)
what about neuspeed race?
advice pls.. is the budget reasonable. yes I want the car to be track-able.

Sleeve type coilovers like Ground Control or full coiloevrs like OmniPower?
1. The sleeve ones should. The springs on EG and Ek are generally interchangeable.
2. "350f/200r" and "8k/10k" refer to the spring rates. Ones is in pounds, the other in KGs.
3. Linear I think would be stiffer. They maintain the same rate throughout the compression stage.

ok, i guess that makes sense. reading around i saw whole tonnes of 450/350 320/250 sorts of combinations for lbs, but only 8k/10k or 10k/12k for kg.
was referring to a full coilover, omni style
