EG Brake swap

k guys, I just bought an entire '99 GSR rear trailing arm assembly (calipers, LCA's, cables included) and want to know, do I swap out the whole arm with mine or do I just swap the brakes onto my arm???

imported_loudsubz 31-May-2004 01:46 PM

whole arm

sweet, that's what I was hoping, now I just have to figure out how to do it... I'm guessing I'm gonna have some brake bias problems since my rears are about the same size as the fronts???

not that hard

the trailing arm should be off in about 5 min if you have air tools and nothing is seized

there the LCA connection, then the 2 bolts that hold the UCA in, then 2 more that hold the end of the trailing arm in

then the brake line

I need to order new rotors and calipers from work, does it matter what year GSR? the reason I ask is my car doesn't have ABS, is there anything specific or just '99 GSR parts?

also, will I have any other problems cuz of the ABS / Non-ABS issue? I got the GSR parking brake cables with the arms, will these fit? or do I need to get Civic EX-V ones?
