Pop off the distributor cap to see if the set screw fell off the rotor.

if you turn it slowly to on then power as if you were to start it.(this should be done slowly) do you hear a click from under the dash (left side) when you go to start it?

if not your main relay is shot.
if you actually hold the key to on like its waiting to start try and kick the under of the dash by the fuse panel and it might start too.

had this problem when i was a cayuga last year (CSCS)

well you turn it 2 notch and it clicks and fuel pump kicks on, then you turn it to power on to start and as if you would here the car turn over it would click the second time.

but on the driver side.

hey your local where abouts in oakville are ya??
